  1. When is judgment righteous?

It is when mercy oversees judgment. We don't realize the insurmountable war that goes on between mercy and judgment. With God the more mercy is ignored the more judgment is required. It is a perfect balance with God. In the next few verses you will see the mercy and Judgment that Jesus spoke to the Scribes and Pharisees. (Matt 23:33-38) "Serpents, brood of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell? ...O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! See! Your house is left to you desolate;" (NKJ)

Does mercy weigh more than judgment? No. However, in righteous judgment there is zero pleasure. Mercy is silenced in the wake of Judgment. Mercy must look away when Judgment takes the bench. For Mercy can not bear what Judgment must do if it is to be just and true. I believe that is why Jesus cried out, "MY GOD! MY GOD! Why hast thou forsaken me?" Mercy can not look upon Judgment's holy wrath! Even to the extent of His beloved Son. Mercy forsook Jesus on the cross. However, judgment was poured out upon his Son because Mercy cried out, "NO!" to the judgment that was in store for you and for me.

Even creation is silenced before the storm! When does Mercy stop and Judgment begin. God only knows. But, when Judgment strikes it is swift. It appears out of the blue. Yet in reality, Mercy was holding Judgment back for months, years, decades or centuries.

  1. What was the driving force behind 'The Bottom Line' Tract?

These are the words of our president, Tim.

The Lord allowed me to go through a period of time that I completely doubted my salvation. This went on 24/7 for about a year and a half. I grew up in the church my entire life. What if I had been taught wrong? What if I were knocking on the gates of hell thinking I was knocking on the gates of heaven? To believe in a literal hell and not knowing if you are going there or not is, to say the least, terrifying. I asked God to strip me of all preconceived ideas and teach me His truth. I remember asking God to do this at any cost to me. I had to know. Satan tormented me day and night during that time of testing.

As the Holy Spirit led me through the scriptures I wrote down my thoughts and findings. It ended up being about 17 typed pages of information. My life and belief system was on trial. My eternal destiny was in the balances. The Lord verse by verse clearly revealed the security and peace I had in him. Out of that year and a half of horror "The Bottom Line' Tract was born. It is the condensed version of the 17 page study.

If I had to pick only two verses that sums it up they would be:
(Rom 10:13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (2 Tim 1:9) Who (God) hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

  1. What versions of the Bible did you use on this site?

We ended up mainly using the King James Version. It normally packs the biggest bang for the buck. And, is more universal across denominations.

  1. Can I print the Bottom Line Tract and let a friend read it?

YES! Permission granted to use for one on one witnessing. We have a printable PDF version of "The Bottom Line" Tract.
